Christian Ministry: Who We Are

Word in Light is a nonprofit ministry dedicated to proclaiming the truth of God’s Word with clarity and faithfulness. Founded by a husband-and-wife team, our calling is to help believers see Scripture plainly, without distortion or prosperity-gospel spin. Through digital tools like our Bible Companion app, teaching, and testimony, we aim to strengthen the Body of Christ, promote Christian fellowship, expose deception, and offer freedom in Jesus’ name. Our work includes Bible studies, prayer services, written preaching, vlogs, and shared testimonies that emphasize Scriptural teaching.

At Word in Light, we believe in the Holy Trinity and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our Lord and Savior. We believe in the power of prayer and that through faith in God, all things are possible. Like the earliest Christians, we keep our theology simple and centered on Jesus, which is a core aspect of our Christian fellowship. Our community often utilizes a Bible Companion app to enhance our understanding and engagement with Scriptural teaching.

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day, He rose again, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the unified gathering of believers, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Word in Light exists to bring the Bible into focus for every believer. Through our Bible Companion app and teaching ministry, we foster Christian fellowship and help Christians see the living Word more clearly, strengthen their faith, and deepen their relationship with Christ. Our Scriptural teaching is presented plainly so that anyone can understand, anchored in the truth of the Word itself—without twisting, watering down, or making false promises. Remember, the truth will make you free (John 8:32), and we proclaim freedom for the captives (Luke 4:18; Isaiah 61:1). Word in Light truly exists to enhance your understanding of the Bible for every believer.

Our faith unites our community. We gather as believers who seek to honor Jesus Christ, stand on the truth of Scripture, and walk in the light of God’s Word. Through our Christian fellowship, we encourage one another, pray for one another, and pursue spiritual growth together while utilizing a Bible Companion app to enhance our understanding of Scripture.
